About the Nintendo DSi Shop and Nintendo Points

Here is the information you need to know:

1.The Nintendo DSi shop is an online application where you redeem Nintendo DSi Points in order to download Nintendo DSi software to your system.

2.In order to connect the Nintendo DSi Shop, you'll need a compatible wireless access point to a broadband internet connection. Most people will be using a wireless router to their home internet connection. For more information on connecting online, click here.

3.Software downloaded from Nintendo DSi Shop is licensed to you, not sold. More information about this will be provided to you as you read the User Agreement prior to using the Nintendo DSi Shop for the first time.

4.You can only connect to the Nintendo DSi Shop for the region in which your Nintendo DSi system was intended to be sold. For example, Nintendo DSi systems sold in the Americas will only be able to connect and download software for the Americas' Nintendo DSi Shop. Systems purchased in Japan would not be able to connect to the Americas' Nintendo DSi Shop.

5.In order to download software from the Nintendo DSi Shop, you must purchase Nintendo DSi Points. Nintendo DSi Points can be purchased by using a Visa or MasterCard on the Nintendo DSi Shop, or you can purchase a Nintendo Points Card at select retail locations.

6.You can redeem Nintendo DSi Points Cards and Wii Points Cards in the Nintendo DSi Shop. Please note that you must redeem all of the points on a Points Card all at once. You cannot divide the points between the Nintendo DSi Shop and the Wii Shop Channel, or between different accounts.

7.Parental Controls may be used to restrict use of Nintendo DSi Points and manage downloading of software based on ESRB ratings.
